Charity/ Organization TOMS “Since its beginning in May 2006, TOMS has given over 10,000 pairs of shoes to children in Argentina and 50,000 to children in South Africa through the purchaces of our caring customers. in 2008, TOMS plans to give 200,000 pairs of shoes to children in need around the world. Our ongoing community events and shoe drops allow TOMS supporters and enthusiets to be a part of this One for One movement. One for One.” TOMS After first hearing about this organization from a blog post by Christofer Drew (NeverShoutNever!) I immediatly went to their website to check it out. They have so many shoes to choose from, each and every one unique and like nothing i’ve seen before. Having bought a pair myself, I feel this organization is a great way to help out your global community in such a simple way as just buying a pair of shoes for a child in need.
