Florida Band #7 We The Kings Originating from Bradenton, this quartet (consisting of vocals/guitar Travis Clark, drummer Danny Duncan, and brothers Drew and Hunter Thomson on guitar and bass) got its name from the middle school they all attended: Martha B. King Middle School. Finding success rather fast, We The Kings began touring after their formation in 2006, and while constantly promoting themselves on websites such as myspace and purevolume, they were signed to S-Curve Records in 2007. Their debut, self titled album was released on S-Curve on October 7, 2007. Still being a relatively new band, We The Kings have already found themselves on tour with bands such as Fall Out Boy, Cobra Starship, The Academy is…, The Maine, The Cab, VersaEmerge, Valencia, Sing It Loud, and also been on two warped tours.
